Grain futures mostly rise, lifestock prices mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain prices mostly rose Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 3 cents to $7.80 a bushel; March corn rose 7 cents to $7.3650 a bushel; March oats were flat at $3.60 a bushel; while March soybeans jumped 22.75 cents to $14.7450 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle fell 0.07 cent to $1.3290 a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.13 cent to $1.4895 a pound; April lean hogs rose 0.18 cent to 89.80 cents a pound.
