Grain futures mostly rise, livestock prices gain

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures mostly rose Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 13.5 cents to $7.125 a bushel; May corn rose 4 cents to $6.33 a bushel; May oats were flat at $3.595 a bushel; while May soybeans added 12.75 cents to $13.745 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 0.52 cent to $1.2202 a pound; May feeder cattle rose 0.80 cent to $1.451 a pound; June lean hogs rose 0.87 cent to 90.57 cents a pound.
