Grain futures mostly rise, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures mostly rose Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 1.75 cent to $7.06 a bushel; July corn rose 14 cents to $6.5025 a bushel; July oats were flat at $3.785 a bushel; while July soybeans added 4.5 cents to $14.035 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 0.62 cent to $1.2107 a pound; May feeder cattle rose 0.48 cent to $1.3585 cents a pound; June lean hogs rose 0.40 cent to 90.90 cents a pound.
