D.C. police are looking for a group of women that they said robbed and beat another woman late Friday night.

Police said five women punched and kicked another woman then stole her iPhone and bag at around midnight in the 500 block of Rhode Island Avenue NE. Two hours later, three women pushed a man against a wall in the 600 block of Edgewood Street -- just a half-mile away from the first mugging -- and demanded his valuables. The man did not have anything taken from him.

Police believe the two incidents are related.
