SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — The Florida Panthers have loaned defenseman Erik Gudbranson and forward Mike Santorelli to the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.

Santorelli is scoreless in three games this season, and has 55 points over his 177-game NHL career.

Gudbranson has not yet appeared because of injury this season. The 21-year-old who was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2010 draft by the Panthers had two goals and six assists in 72 games as a rookie last season.

The defending Southeast Division champion Panthers are off to a 1-5 start, the worst in the NHL. They play host to the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night.
