Last weekend George Washington University President Steven Knapp proved, once again, that he's got the beat. Knapp was brought onstage Saturday night to drum alongside Earth, Wind & Fire during their on-campus performance on alumni weekend. This isn't the first time Knapp has been tapped to, well, tap those drums. Last year at alumni weekend he played drums for the late Chuck Brown. Earth, Wind & Fire heard about Knapp's previous gig and wanted him to play with them too, though they didn't practice beforehand. Knapp played along to the song "September" before a crowd of 2,300 at the Charles E. Smith Center.
