GREENVILLE, Miss. (AP) — Greg Hinton has been named president and general manager of Harlow's Casino Resort and Spa in Greenville.
Harlow's is owned by Louisville, Kentucky-based Churchill Downs Inc.
Hinton, whose mother is a Greenville native, tells the Delta Democrat-Times (http://bit.ly/1rDTf3v ) he will focus on bolstering service at the casino.
Hinton earned a bachelor's degree in business administration at California State Polytechnic University and received a master's degree in finance and marketing at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
He began his career at Price Waterhouse LLP in Houston, Texas, before joining Accenture LLP.
He began in the casino industry as vice president of finance for non-gambling operations at Harrah's Entertainment in Tunica. In 2012, he became general manager of Hollywood Casino, also in Tunica.
