HBO's 'Girls' wins Globe for best TV comedy series

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — Lena Dunham's HBO show "Girls" has won the Golden Globe for best TV comedy or musical series.

The other nominees Sunday night were "The Big Bang Theory," ''Episodes," ''Modern Family" and "Smash."

The 70th annual Golden Globes are airing live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, with hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
