Dan Loeb, a hedge fund manager who used to support President Obama, can’t believe that anyone on Wall Street still backs the president given how he has attacked the wealthy since winning the White House.

Loeb compared Obama’s remaining Wall Street supporters — who have contributed a lot of money to his campaign — to “battered wives” who stay with their abusive husband.

“He really loves us and when he beats us, he doesn’t mean it; he just gets a little angry,” Loeb wrote in a 2010 email reported in The New Yorker.
