Cory Booker, mayor of Newark, N.J., has one powerful Twitter feed.

After retweeting a constituent's complaint that he was running out of Hot Pockets in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Booker earned his city a ton of free Hot Pockets.

In a letter to the mayor, Hot Pockets said it was inspired by the efforts of Northeastern residents to help their neighbors after the storm and wanted to pitch in, especially after reading the tweets between Booker and his constituent. "Enclosed, please find coupons for free Hot Pockets that you can give out to people who stop by your home, or anyone else you feel could use them," the note reads. "We're also sending some to Tyree Humes who sent you the tweet."

Booker tweeted his thanks to Hot Pockets and remarked, "Newarkers now have plenty of Hot Pockets to put in the oven."
