Former Utah governor and Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman came out Thursday in support of gay marriage. Huntsman penned a piece for the American Conservative in which he called marriage equality a conservative cause. "There is nothing conservative about denying other Americans the ability to forge that same relationship with the person they love," he wrote. In turn, his op-ed received a giant booyah online from his three 20-something, politically-savvy daughters. "Amazing and inspiring," Liddy Huntsman called the piece. "Way to go," Mary Anne Huntsman shouted out to dad via Twitter. Finally, Abby Huntsman, who works at the lefty website Huffington Post, wrote, "it's a conservative cause and one we should embrace."
