A Hyattsville man has been arrested for fatally stabbing another man during a pool party in 2010, police said.

Keith Whitley Haines, 21, was charged Monday with second-degree murder for the death of 21-year-old Edwin Yoanis Reyes, of Lanham, according to Prince George's County police.

In August 2010, Reyes and Haines attended a pool party at a home on Parkland Drive in Forestville. During the party, the two men got into a fight, and Haines stabbed Reyes multiple times, police said.

Haines is being held without bond. According to court records, he has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 5.
