In this photo by Wally Santana, a motorist practices Chinese meditation as he waits at a traffic light with thousands of scooter drivers commuting into Taipei, Taiwan. The Taipei area has 41 motorcycles or scooters for every 100 people, and the 15 million motorcycles registered in Taiwan overall are about double the number of cars, according to government data last year.
