As Washington prepares to shut down for the summer holidays, one big issue remains unresolved: immigration reform. The U.S. Senate just passed a comprehensive immigration reform bill by a vote of 68-32, and after the break the U.S. House of Representatives will take up the bill. In the meantime, millions of undocumented immigrants live in fear of deportation. "I’m not part of Guatemala. I’m part of the United States. I’ve been here such a long time.. Everything that I know belongs here in the United States," says Thelma Rodriguez, whose family came to the U.S. In 1985, seeking asylum from the violent civil war in Guatemala.
