Last night during the Kennedy Center Honors awards, President Obama spoke briefly with Detroit rock musician Kid Rock – who supported Mitt Romney for president.

CNN reports that Kid Rock revealed that the president told him, “I’m still here.”

Kid Rock responded, “No hard feelings.”

The Detroit rocker endorsed and campaigned for Mitt Romney during the presidential eleciton; his song “Born Free” became the Romney’s campaign’s anthem.

Kid Rock indicated he was disappointed that Romney lost, but felt that it was important to move on.

“You respect the office of the president of the United States,” Kid Rock explained to CNN. “And the great thing is in four years, we get to choose again.”
