OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — In a story Oct. 10, The Associated Press reported that a Brookings Institution study had found that the overall clean energy sector added jobs at an annual rate of 3.4 percent between 2003 and 2010. The story should have specified that the 3.4 percent figure included some non-energy jobs. The two main energy sectors highlighted in the Brookings report — "renewable energy" and "energy and resource efficiency" — grew at rates of 3.1 percent and 3 percent, respectively.
