A Ron Paul for President Facebook fan page wonders whether Hurricane Issac has some sort of vendetta against the Republican party for failing to field Ron Paul as their candidate against Obama.

“Is Hurricane Isaac going to punish the Republican Party for denying Ron Paul the nomination?” asks the status of the Facebook page Ron Paul 2012.

The page is an “unofficial” page, run by “Grassroots for Ron Paul 2012″ and has over 39,000 “likes.”

For some fans, the hurricane fear is all part of the GOP conspiracy.

“I think the GOP is using Isaac as an excuse to “postpone” the convention so they won’t have to deal with all the egg on their face,” wrote one Paul supporter.

Other fans thought the message went too far.

“I’m all for Ron Paul, but that’s just absurd!” wrote one fan. Another wrote, “Umm..not appropriate.”
