ITALY'S VINCENZO NIBALI HAS LOCKED UP HIS FIRST TOUR DE FRANCE WIN AFTER MAINTAINING HIS MORE THAN SEVEN MINUTE LEAD FOLLOWING SATURDAYS TIME TRAIL.

THE RIDER, KNOWN AS "THE SHARK", CONFIRMED HIS WIN AFTER AN IMPRESSIVE RIDE IN A DRAMATIC PENULTIMATE STAGE.

WITH THE BIGGEST OVERALL LEAD IN 17 YEARS, NIBALI PUSHED HIMSELF IN THE INVIDIUAL TIME TRIAL TO SECURE HIS OVERALL LEAD IN STAGE 20 OF THE RACE.
