A staple of the White House press corps for years, Jake Tapper is leaving his position with ABC News and making the jump to CNN. Tapper will be the network's chief Washington correspondent and host a daily program beginning next year. This marks new CNN chief Jeff Zucker's first big move since taking the helm in Novermber. Tapper started his journalism career with the Washington City Paper, and has written for GQ, The Weekly Standard and the New York Times among others.
