Janet Napolitano: ‘Please don’t yell at the TSA officers’

If you see something, say something kind to the Transportation Security Administration officers. At least, don’t say something unkind to the TSA, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano requested today.

“Please don’t yell at the customs officers and the TSA officers,” Napolitano said today during the Politico breakfast. “They are not responsible for [the] sequester.” She acknowledged that “nobody likes to wait in line and nobody likes to wait in long lines.”

Napolitano predicted that airport lines might be twice as long as usual. “I’m trying to give you your story so you can say ‘it’s really long,’” she explained to the reporters. “They’re really long lines.”
