Japanese Carmaker Nissan To Start Making Sentra in America

Good news for the American economy today. Japanese carmaker Nissan is planning to start building its 2013 Sentra model in the United States.The company announced it will hire at least 1,000 more workers at its Canton, Mississippi plant. In total, around 4,500 employees will work at the plant with this new addition. The new output of the Sentra will begin later this year.This news comes on the heels of Nissan expanding in Mexico in a $2 billion deal. It is a move to reach a goal of making 85% of the autos it sells in North America and South America at factories in those regions by 2015.
