Jennifer Hudson belted out Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" as President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, wearing a custom-made red Jason Wu gown, danced cheek-to-cheek at Monday night's official Inaugural Ball at the Convention Center,

The song's sentiment is something we're sure POTUS wants his supporters to keep in mind this second term. But it was county singer Brad Paisley who was on point when it came to the party's ambiance. "And tonight we celebrate by getting drunk at a huge convention center," he joked between tunes. He had a point. The ball treated guests to three types of snacks -- pretzels, party mix and Cheez-Its, which were helpfully labeled. Water was $3, a mix drink was $10, and the whole ball had a very garage-like feel to it before becoming packed with thousands of people.

Besides Paisley, fun. took to the stage, as did Mexican band Mana. The night began with Alicia Keys changing up one of her own songs, belting out "Obama's on Fire" instead of the usual "Girl on Fire."
