Jimmy Kimmel will move to battle with Leno, Letterman

ABC annouced on Tuesday that they would be movie Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show ahead of "Nightline" in a push for the network to compete with NBC's "The Tonight Show" and CBS's "The Late Show." "Jimmy Kimmel Live" will start airing at 11:35 p.m. on January 8 with "Nightline" moving to after midnight. The news program will eventually move to a primetime slot in March 2013. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is the only late night program to increase viewership over the past year.
