Does Joan Rivers love us or hate us? The "Fashion Police" host and reality television star whooshed into the District Monday to promote her new book, "I Hate Everyone, Starting with Me." She did a couple of interviews, was fetted at Michel Richard's downtown eatery Central, and gave a hilarious talk at the Sixth & I Synagogue. Beforehand, she told Politico's Patrick Gavin that she hates Washington. "Washington will probably be the one place that nobody buys the book and that's why I hate Washington," she said, describing herself as apolitical in a much-too-political town. Later on, as reported by Washingtonian's Carol Joynt, Rivers "swooned about how much she loves Washington," a sentiment she also relayed to the crowd at Sixth & I. Now, wait a minute Joan, which one is it? Either way, we Washingtonians know exactly what to call her — a flip-flopper.
