Kicking off inauguration weekend, the youth empowerment group OurTime.org is hosting a fete at the National Portrait Gallery with a performance by John Legend. The Saturday night party is being held to honor the rising millennial electorate, but there's a service component too. All 2,000 guests will be asked to participate in a National Day of Service on Jan. 20, leading up to that Monday's inauguration.

"Young Americans played an instrumental role this election and we're here to stay as a force to be reckoned with in American politics," OurTime.org founder Matt Segal told Yeas & Nays. "Our Time's party will convene young activists, entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders in celebration of our collective responsibility to advance our country the next four years." More acts are expected to be confirmed for the party, which will be held at 8 p.m. on Jan. 19. A limited amount of tickets will be available for purchase on OurTime.org in coming weeks.
