George Washington University will host what's being called "The Rumble In The Air-Conditioned Auditorium," a debate between "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart and Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly. Both media figures announced the epic battle on their programs Monday night.

"In order to illuminate the vital issues associated with the upcoming presidential election, Stewart and I will debate, man to man, eye to eye -- well, not really, he's a tiny guy," O'Reilly told viewers, following it up with some smack talk. "It better be cool in there because Stewart is going to be taking some massive heat." Stewart did the same. "As you know on this program, we have, at times, poked a bit of fun at Fox News," Stewart began. "Well that being the case, I have been challenged to a debate by one of their pundit-news-hybrid men."

The debate will go down Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. Tickets are sold out, but the event will be live streamed for $4.95, with half of all profits going to charity.
