Move over Brookings, Heritage and Cato, because chef Jose Andres has big thoughts too.

"I dream of creating a think tank for food here in Washington," the local restaurateur told folks attending Wednesday's Washington Ideas Forum. "A food institute, where we will bring people from different parts of the feeding system to come up with the best way to not only feed America, but to feed the world."

So far, he's only gotten as far as creating a course for George Washington University, but it's a start. "So we are going to be teaching food and politics, food and history, food and obesity, food and hunger, food and national security," he said. "And I hope that through that class 10,20, 30 years from now every single senator, every single congressmen, the president himself, will be a food politician."
