Calling it a “historic opportunity,” Health and Human Services Sec. Kathleen Sebelius asserted Thursday that the political debate over Obamacare is over.
“While it may seem that this is still a political debate, the debate is really over,” Sebelius said, reminding the audience that the law was passed by Congress, signed into law, ruled constitutional by the Supreme Court, and President Obama was re-elected “overwhelmingly.”
“This is the law, and we’re about implementing the law,” she insisted.
Sebelius spoke about the law’s implementation in a town hall style event in Philadelphia.
