On Monday, news broke that the Kennedy Center Honors process would be reviewed because so few Latinos have received the prize. But on Tuesday, an announcement was made by Latino organizations that they would be taking over the venue for a star-studded inaugural celebration.

Actress Eva Longoria, businessman Henry R. Munoz III and activist Andres W. Lopez will serve as executive producers of "In Performance at the Kennedy Center" a concert scheduled for Sunday night of inauguration weekend. Longoria will also be the host, and will be joined by Raul Esparza, Jose Feliciano, Juan Diego Florez, Melanie Griffith, George Lopez, Mario Lopez, Rita Moreno, Chita Rivera, Robert Rodriguez, Llewellyn Sanchez-Werner, Ballet Hispanico, Coral Cantigas, Coro de Ninos de San Juan, the Esperanza Azteca Youth Orchestra, the Pan American Symphony Orchestra and others.

Tickets to the live Opera House performance start at $300, while those for the Eisenhower Theater simulcast begin at $150. Both types of tickets include entry to a reception after the show.
