Policy and politics will own the day at next week's Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida, but the stars of rock and country will own the night right outside at Liberty Plaza.

Liberty Plaza spokesman Ron Bonjean told Secrets that Lynyrd Skynyrd opens the entertainment schedule Monday night followed by country star Trace Adkins Tuesday night, Kid Rock Wednesday night and Journey will be featured at the "wheels up" event Thursday night, after the convention ends.
