43 year old Paula Cooper, the youngest person in America to be sentenced to death row, was paroled after 27 years in jail. Cooper was just 16 years old when she was convicted of murdering a 78 year old bible teacher and making off with $10. Because of her age, over 2 million people signed a petition to get her death sentence overturned, and a judge changed her death sentence to 60 years. Her sentence was again reduced for good behavior.
