CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Knicks coach Mike Woodson says guard Jason Kidd will play Wednesday night against the Charlotte Bobcats but won't start. He says Kidd but will see action at point guard and the No. 2 spot coming off the bench.

Kidd has missed the last four games with lower back spasms. He's averaging 8.0 points and 3.4 assists per game this season for New York (12-4).

Center Marcus Camby was questionable coming in, but will miss his fourth straight game with a sore left foot, according to Woodson. Iman Shumpert (torn left ACL) and Amar'e Stoudemire (left knee debridement) are also out for the Knicks.

The Bobcats have lost four straight games after a 7-5 start.
