DETROIT (AP) — A large fire has been contained at the site of a pallet business on Detroit's east side.

WWJ-AM reports (http://cbsloc.al/PnarLP ) firefighters on the scene Wednesday morning worked to keep the blaze from spreading from the site of J&G pallet and trucking.

There were no reports of injuries. Owner J.D. Givan says he's thankful that no one was hurt.

The fire sent flames shooting high into the air and disrupted some traffic in the area. Crews worked to put out hot spots hours after the blaze began.

The cause is under investigation.
