Russia's Foreign Ministry says the chief diplomats from Russia and the United States have discussed the situation in Ukraine and the fulfillment of a Cold War-era arms control deal that the U.S. has accused Russia of violating. It said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry discussed the issue of compliance with the 1987 Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Treaty in a phone call Tuesday. The U.S. accused Russia Monday of violating the treaty by testing a new ground-launched cruise missile. The Russian Foreign Ministry didn't comment on the accusations.
