TORONTO (AP) — Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender James Reimer is expected to be sidelined at least a week because of a strained knee ligament.

Reimer was injured during the second period of Toronto's 5-2 victory over the visiting Philadelphia Flyers on Monday. He was injured while down on his knees during a goal-mouth scramble.

Last season, he missed 19 games with whiplash after being hit by Montreal's Brian Gionta.

Reimer came into Monday's game with a 5-3-0 record, 2.30 goals-against average and .929 save percentage.
