A Hispanic woman in her early 20s was found dead in a Leesburg apartment early Friday morning, and police said that they consider her death to be suspicious.

About 12:40 a.m., police were alerted by the woman's relatives, who had not been able to make contact with her for the past few days. The woman's body was located inside an apartment at a complex in the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE in Leesburg, police said. Her identity has not been released.

Leesburg police said that the death is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.
