Silver Spring native Lewis Black will be returning to an area stage this spring. He's scheduled to do a standup show at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue in Chinatown on May 19. Also on the docket is E! News host and frequent "Chelsea Lately" contributor Ross Mathews, who will hit up Sixth & I with his own brand of comedy on May 9. He'll be sharing stories from his forthcoming book, "Man Up: Tales of My Self- Delusional Self-Confidence." Mathews is also no stranger to the political world, covering last summer's political conventions and President Obama's inauguration in January for E! News. Tickets to see Black cost $65, while tickets for the Mathews event cost $30. Tickets for both performances go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
