SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — Santa Claus is coming to Springfield.

In a release Tuesday, the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum announced its new exhibit will show visitors all the ways Santa Claus has been portrayed through the ages.

It will consist of 13 figures of different sizes from around the world.

Among them will be St. Nicholas, Kris Kringle, Father Ice and the man in the red suit we most commonly think of today as Santa Claus.

The exhibit starts Nov. 2 and continues through Jan. 2.

The museum also is holding an essay contest for students in grades 5 to 12. The theme is "If I Were Santa Claus," and winners will receive cash prizes.
