HOLIDAY VOICES

Nothing says "Merry Christmas" more than an evening with the National Symphony Orchestra Pops. The Kennedy Center (2700 F St. NW) will be decked out in twinkling lights, Christmas trees, wreaths and even snow for NSO's annual holiday pops program. This festive program features the Grammy Award-winning vocal ensemble New York Voices led by the internationally renowned conductor Randall Craig Fleischer. He will lead the audience in everyone's favorite Christmas tunes, and Santa Clause will even join in the chorus.

The program starts at 7 p.m. in Kennedy Center's concert hall. Tickets cost $20 to $85 and you can purchase them at kennedy-center.org. If you and your kids can't make it tonight, don't worry. The show runs through Sunday.

PARTY FUEL

Everyone's favorite full-bodied beer, Fuel, is back at Capitol City Brewing Company, and you're invited to a special tapping party on Thursday to try it out! This imperial coffee stout is a dark malt blended with coffee, and the flavors become even more robust as it warms. Fuel won't be the only beer featured -- a relief to those of you who aren't big coffee fans. The brewpub will also have several of your favorite beers on tap as well as various food specials.

The evening kicks off Cap City's downtown location (1100 New York Ave. NW) at 6 p.m. For more information, go to www.capcitybrew.com or check them out on Facebook at facebook.com/CapCityBrew.
