If you like museums and like robots, then this is your week. It's National Robotics Week at the Smithsonian, and the display includes various robotics representing the evolution of robots in the United States.
The doors of the Spark!Lab at the National Museum of Natural History open at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday for a 9:30 start. There will be live demonstrations, including robots locating objects and playing music, and a search-and-rescue robot designed to aid disaster victims.
The museum is located at Constitution Avenue and 14th Street on the National Mall.
