Prince George's County police are investigating an overnight shooting that left two men dead.
The county suffered four slayings over four days, bringing the total number of deaths for 2011 to 46 compared to 36 over the same period last year.
Around 11:30 p.m. Monday, police responded to the sound of gunshots in the 1300 block of Rollins Avenue in Capitol Heights, and found two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds inside a Silver Lexus. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The men have been identified as Anthony Stevens McKelvin, 28, of Suitland, and Sean O'Neal Ellis, 24, of District Heights.
Police are asking for information from anybody who saw the Silver Lexus, with Maryland tags 1AE 2075, earlier in the day. Anyone with information can call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.
