Some workers in Fairfax County will pay $5 for the chance to wear jeans to work Oct. 21.
The fundraiser, sponsored by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, will collect money for the county's Partnership to Prevent and End Homelessness.
So far AOC Key Solutions, Chess Consulting, CPS Professional Services, Transurban, Virginia Commerce Bank and many more have signed up to participate.
The county's Board of Supervisors officially declared Oct. 21 "Jeans Day."
"Jeans Day is a great opportunity for employees working in Fairfax County to get involved in the fight to prevent and end homelessness in an innovative and fun way,” Chairman Sharon Bulova, D-At-Large, said.
