Fairfax County fire officials say that someone intentionally set fire to the McLean home of a federal judge last month.

Dave Oney, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service, said the law enforcement agency has no reason to believe that the fire was related to the official duties of U.S. District Judge Liam O'Grady, according to the Associated Press.

The Dec. 5 fire caused about $300,000 in damage, and displaced the judge and his family. No one was hurt in the blaze.

No one has been charged and the investigation continues by the Fairfax County fire department.
