Police are investigating a sexual assault in Arlington and believe more women may have been victimized by the same man.
A female escort was sexually assaulted in a Crystal City hotel room on Jan. 19, according to Arlington County police. Police said a man hired the woman online and forced her to stay against her will in the hotel on the 2000 block of S. Jefferson Davis Highway. The man performed what police described as "unwanted sexual acts."
Police say the man is known to contact women through online advertisements and believe he may have assaulted other women. The man is described as black, 35 to 45 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 to 180 pounds.
