A Centreville man killed his roommate, then reported to authorities that a dead woman was in his home, according to Fairfax County Police.
Police said 22-year-old Benjamin Walker went to the sheriff's office pre-release center at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday to report that a deceased woman was in his home. Officers who responded to the home on the 5900 block of Gunther Court found 22-year-old Ryah Leslie slain inside.
Walker and Leslie were roommates, police said. Walker has been charged with murder.
Police said Leslie suffered trauma to her upper body but did not disclose further details about how she died. Authorities didn't say when she is believed to have been killed.
