SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. (AP) — Lake Superior State University's School of Business will have a new name when it moves into its new home.

The Lukenda School of Business will be named after Lou Lukenda, a Lake Superior State alumnus who served on the LSSU Foundation's board of directors for nearly 20 years.

The school will be housed in South Hall, a former army barracks from the days when the campus was the home of Fort Brady.

Construction of the $12 million facility is to begin in spring 2014.
