Lynyrd Skynyrd is the latest musical act to be announced for entertainment over inauguration weekend. The band will headline the 2013 Heroes Red, White & Blue Inaugural Concert Ball Sunday at the Warner Theater, a military benefit, with 1,000 troops expected to attend. Co-hosts include House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., and others. Sen. John Thune's daughter Brittany will sing the national anthem. The fundraiser is sponsored by Citizens Helping Heroes, the Washington Humane Society's Dog Tags program and the Green Beret Foundation.
