OKOLONA, Miss. (AP) — Madison Park Home Furnishings, which has its international headquarters in China, has bought furniture manufacturer Rose Hill Company.

The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports (http://bit.ly/Uy5s7R) that Madison Park intends to keep the Rose Hill name. Rose Hill is located in Okolona. Madison Park's U.S. headquarters is in Tupelo.

Financial details of the deal were undisclosed.

Maria Sesin of Madison Park Home Furnishings says the company produces a wide range of living room furniture. Sesin says there have been no major changes in personnel.

Rose Hill has a long history in Okolona, initially established in 1968. The company had 75 employees and sales of between $12 million and $18 million in 2011.

The company makes mid-range upholstered living-room furniture using wood frames, metal hardware and metal mechanical parts.
