Magic Johnson, Stevie Wonder, baseball Hall-of-Famer Hank Aaron, Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., and others joined President Obama for a Black History Month reception at the White House on Wednesday. Politico reported Phylicia Rashad, of "The Cosby Show" fame, also planned to attend. CNN contributor Roland Martin, who was also there, tweeted that Wonder was kind enough to say hello to his nieces on the phone. The reception was closed to press.

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation also honored Wonder at the Howard Theatre on Tuesday night, where Dionne Warwick performed a musical tribute. And Johnson was spotted Wednesday at the Sports Club/LA cafe in the Washington Ritz-Carlton, an interesting choice for a man whose company, Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds, owns a stake in the Washington Hilton.
