EASTON, Maine (AP) — Two Maine men have been arrested in connection with the theft of a large number of glass test tubes from a high school chemistry lab.

Maine State Police said 28-year-old Tim Rooney of Fort Fairfield faces burglary and theft charges for allegedly breaking into Easton High School and stealing the tubes.

Police say 33-year-old Erik Lamoreau of Easton was charged with possession of stolen property and violation of conditions of release.

Authorities say additional charges may be filed.
